About The Role

As a Motion Graphics Artist on an episodic series, you will be responsible for working closely with the Art Director and Lighting and Compositing Supervisor on episodic motion graphics creation, bringing them to life and delivering high-quality and innovative motion graphic content that seamlessly integrates with CG elements. 

As this role will be predominantly working with the Lighting and Compositing team, the ability to use After Effects and also Nuke would be ideal. This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgement and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You will be an integral part of the creative process, bringing to life pre-designed artwork by our design team to client amends.

This role is due to start early July 2025 and is part-time, working 2.5 days per week.

Day to Day:

  • Develop creative and visually compelling motion graphics for various projects, including Long-form & Short-form content
  • Utilise industry-standard software tools, such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop, to design and animate graphics that effectively communicate the desired message.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, video editors, and creative directors, to brainstorm ideas and concepts for motion graphic projects.
  • Interpret and translate client briefs and requirements into visually stunning and engaging motion graphics that align with the brand identity and project objectives.
  • Nuke / Comp fixes integrating motion graphics with comp in Nuke.

About You

Must Have:

  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and software advancements to continuously improve the quality and impact of motion graphics produced.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time effectively to meet deadlines without compromising on creativity or quality.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of motion graphic design, including typography, colour schemes, and visual effects.
  • Adapt quickly to feedback and make necessary revisions and adjustments to motion graphics based on client or team input.

Bonus Points:

  • Maintain organised files and assets, following best practices for version control and asset management to facilitate easy retrieval and future edits.
  • Experience in Long-Form / Short-Form Children's entertainment.
