About The Role

Our Storyboard Artists above all have excellent narrative and drawing skills, and a clear understanding of staging, character and comedy. We're looking for a Storyboard Artist who is familiar with Toonboom Storyboard Pro along with a accomplished understanding of story and creating a scene. 
 

This role requires the hired candidate to be based in the UK, outside of London (outside the M25). We would like to highlight that the hired person in this role may be required to work part or full time at one of our Regional Studio Hubs (to be confirmed). This role will also report into one of our Regional Studio Hubs.

Due to the current government guidelines on the continuing pandemic, all job opportunities we offer will remain remote for the foreseeable future. 

 
Day to Day:
  • Working with the Director and Supervisor to create coherent and accomplished storyboards.
  • Interpreting and applying comedic timing from the scripts successfully.
  • Maintaining consistency and perspective when drawing characters throughout all boards, staying on model.
  • Working alongside the project Directors to ensure fixes and feedback has been incorporated into the boards.

About You

Must Have:
  • Experience in working with Toonboom Storyboard Pro
  • Exceptional understanding of applying strong posing and character
  • Knowledge of layout and composition
  • A demonstrated and accomplished understanding of story and staging
  • Ability to communicate emotive character and witty comedy throughout boards
  • The ability to deliver on schedule, working calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Experience in working in children's television
