About The Role

We're currently on the look-out for an experienced character Rigger to join our 2D team. 


We are seeking someone with a strong background using Harmony - additional experience in other fields such as animation, compositing, FX and prop rigging is a bonus. We want someone with a passion for problem solving who is always eager to improve the tools they deliver -  someone who understands the value of keeping the animation crew happy.


Day to Day:

  • Analysing character designs and animatics for rigging requirements. 
  • Developing character turnarounds, special poses and redresses.
  • Boosting rig performance with Master Controllers and other Harmony tools.
  • Addressing feedback from Rigging and Animation supervisors. 
  • Rigging characters and complex props
  • Collaborating with another senior rigger to oversee an episode each
  • Responsible for watching animatics and making sure that animators will get what they need for their episode

About You

Must Have:

  • Excellent knowledge of Toonboom and rigging.
  • Good professional animation experience.
  • Some professional rigging experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills. 
  • The ability to listen to directions and be good team players.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • A love for problem solving.
  • A good attitude towards learning.

  • What we would love to see in your portfolio;
  • Some Toon Boom animation.
  • Examples of your problem solving; screencaps of your nodeview with some explanation is fine.
  • Some videos or screencaps of your rigs.
  • Examples of vectorised artworks.
  • If you have completed a Toonboom course or qualification test, please let us know in your CV.
