About The Role

As one of our Talent Resourcers, you will work closely within the People and Talent team to provide an excellent recruitment service to the studio. You’ll be joining our lovely Talent team working collaboratively to hire across different departments by sourcing and screening great talent.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the full cycle recruitment for your assigned departments. You will be a self-starter, prioritising studio needs alongside the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Talent Resourcer as well as developing your own communication and organisational skills. You will be one of the first people applicants interact with, so you must be welcoming, friendly, and approachable. Maintaining an online and social media presence is an important part of the role, however, the personal touch is just as important. This means you need to be outgoing, adaptable, and willing to get out and e-meet people.

You will be an essential part of the People and Talent team, being the first point of contact to external candidates and sources, as well as assisting with ad hoc tasks outside of your main recruitment responsibilities.

This role will suit a motivated person with a high degree of attention to detail, hungry for a role to progress within talent acquisition and a keen interest in working in Recruitment and/or People and Talent. We are looking for personable and enthusiastic individuals who pride themselves on their organisational skills. It is essential that the successful candidate can hit the ground running, be a confident communicator who is keen to build strong relationships with candidates and business hiring managers alike. It would be useful if you have worked within a recruitment/HR environment (agency or in-house).

The studio will be closed during the festive season so we will be reviewing applications in January 2021.

About You

Must Have:

Managing the full cycle recruitment process across a number of different departments within creative and technical teams
Sourcing and engaging talent and activating passive candidates through the use of Boolean on LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
Looking after the recruitment inbox and keeping on top of responding to emails and requests.
Supporting the talent team in sourcing candidates by writing role descriptions, posting job adverts, shortlisting applications
Identifying the most suitable candidates for each vacancy, as well as proactively approaching potential candidates for current vacancies
Screening candidates to ensure they’re an ideal competence and culture match for Blue Zoo and arranging telephone, video, and in-person interviews with suitable applicants
Collaborating with the recruitment team and hiring managers to deeply understand the requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the studio
Building strong working relationships with the hiring managers and candidates alike
Managing the Applicant Tracking System with the other Talent Resourcer
Ensuring all job adverts are valid and up to date
Ensuring the candidate experience is smooth from application to onboarding
Supporting the Talent team with recruitment projects

Bonus Points:

You have a strong interest in animation and visual effects
You have experience in television, film, animation or visual effects production.
You’re a keen team player!

Experience:

Previous experience in a recruiter role is essential
Ambitious about working in recruitment and developing a career in talent acquisition
Experience gained in a recruitment coordination/administration role is essential and experience of screening applications and coordinating interviews is essential.
Work experience gained as a Recruitment Researcher/Resourcer and experience of using Recruitment job boards and LinkedIn Recruiter to identify passive and active candidates is highly desirable.
