About The Role

In your role as Workflow Integration Lead, you’ll work with our production and pipeline teams helping coordinate the development of studio workflows, production tracking and custom tools. You’ll be an important bridge between production management and our tech leads, by focusing our goals for production needs and organising a development roadmap. This role does not involve coding but you’ll need development knowledge to gauge workloads, as well as good communication skills to converse with technical and non-technical colleagues.


This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and help out on our wide variety of projects, from 3D to 2D animation.

Day to Day:
  • Collaborate with the pipeline teams to check in with studio departments to uncover and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Investigate opportunities to boost production efficiency.

  • Keep up to date with operational aspects of project development, including establishing development frameworks, reporting, risk management, capacity planning, resource management, and budgeting.

  • Organise studio development roadmap ensuring that priorities and milestones are realistic and achievable.

  • Coordinate cross-department technical initiatives including training (such as new software integrations, task tracking platforms, industry trends, etc).
  • Coordinate research and evaluate appropriate workflow tools/plugins.
  • Communicate with software vendors for support, training, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Assist with workflow guide documentation and process mapping for production teams.
  • Consolidate work processes across teams who are working in different ways.
  • Assist with development and best practices of project tracking platform (ftrack).
  • Coordinate training and documentation on project tracking platform (ftrack).

About You

Must have:
  • Experience of animation/VFX/games production, from concept to delivery and sustained development post launch.
  • Familiar with production tracking software such as Ftrack/Shotgun.

    Track record of project planning being successfully executed leading to the timely delivery of quality projects

  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to focus on priorities, manage change and deliver against agreed deadlines.

  • Proficient administrative and word processing skills.

  • Strong understanding and experience of the animation production process. 

  • Willing to commit and take responsibility for initiatives.

  • Flexibility, supportive and willing to manage the impact of change.

  • Strong and sophisticated communication skills.

  • Previous and demonstrable experience in working under rapid development cycles.

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and new technologies.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with FTrack, Google Suite and general task tracking platforms.
  • Knowledge of Maya, Nuke, Harmony, and Premiere Pro.

  • Coding/technical knowledge is a bonus although no coding experience is expected for this role.
